I had downloaded, installed and enjoyed the mod called dulsya isle but now that I finished all of the quests and such I started doing tellvanni quests and got really high so i sais: hmm I want a stronghold. I got to level three and looked up (on google) for green uvirith which i have heard of somewhere, when i installed ut and tried to play it I got tons of errors about dulsya isle stuff but i said "yes" to all and and then loaded my save but instantly it shut down (the game) and told me there was an error.

hmm....I see it as if i have to either uninstall dulsya isle (how do i do this without millions of errors)

or something else

please somebody help me

Surely you simply need to deactivate dulsya island in the data files? Mod conflicts are common which is why I start new games when I want to try them out.

If you are willing I'd like you to review Dulsya island in the pinned thread in plug-ins 'what mod'. Thanks.

Just a warning, if you are going to deactivate the mod from data files, make sure that you have the 'Yes to all' option because you will probably be pressing 'OK' for a long time. And I never got the chance to play it because it wouldn't work on my computer.

How do you de activate the mod?

anyway, dulsya island is good, about 3 hours of gameplay. very fun but then again it kinda messed up...I really dont understand why the mod would conflict with a mod in tel uvirith.

Erm - surely I don't have to say this Gilbert? You've been playing mods for a while. Well it's like when you've loaded a mod, to play it you go into the Data Files section of the start up menu and click on the box to the left of the mod name until it gets a black cross in it. This time you click on it until it hasn't got a black cross.

Adras is right, when you next load an existing game you will get loads of error messages. Better to start a new game IMO.

There are a number of reasons a mod would conflict with another, the most common is a shared ID, If it is the same type of object, say a Static, the more recent usually overwrites the older one, causing something with the other mod maybe important maybe not. If its say a Door and a static with the same ID it will shut the game down before it even loads. Who knows what can happen with scripts if they are the same name.

Just say yes to all of the errors. the game will work just as fine. i had a character that was dependent on bloodmoon even tough he had not been there so i turned bloodmoon off since it conflicts with tribunal and it worked just as fine. :S hope i did not confuse anyone!!
