looking to contract a modder

I need a modder who is pretty good with blender, i'm looking at armor alterations of already existing armor mods, hopefully it isn't a huge hassle to do that. I'm paying for something personal and instead of posting some request thread that will probably never be fulfilled i figure i'd try and pay anyone interested, so it isn't a colossal waste of time for both of us. There are no deadlines too, and i will pay upfront.

send me a PM if you're interested and i'll lay the details out.

I would recommend a few things here:

1. Never pay 100% up-front for anything. At most, only pay 50% to start with and the rest upon delivery. Or 25% up-front, 50% at 1/2 way, and final 25% at delivery. Or pay a certain percentage based on the percentage delivered (20% for boots delivered, 20% for greaves, etc)

2. Clearly show what armor you are wanting modified and what kind of modifications you are wanting. This will keep inquires to a minimum if people that do not have the skills do not bother asking more detailed questions.

3. With #2 being clearly defined which gives the experienced modder a basic guess as to how long it will take them, the amount of money (or trade items) would also need to be clarified to a point. Having somebody create an entire armor set for $20 ain't gonna happen. Also, some modders will refuse to "mod" somebody else's work if the original author does not give permission to do so (or more specifically forbids modification). It may have to remain a "private-only" modification.

NOTE: Paying an experienced modeler is not typically cheap and would normally frighten most people away. You see plenty of freebies on this site and others because the modelers were interested in doing it, sharing, notoriety, portfolio, etc. But having somebody make something for somebody else is a whole different story.

Thank you for the response, my apologies for not being clear it is actually a private mod. I also have done some homework on that  I'm not sure what price to offer, i can offer a good amount though, the alterations are very simple apparently, as i have inquired from certain modders about it, they were busy and i didn't want to bother them so i figured i'd ask to see if anyones interested first.
