Pronam
Hasn't really anything to do with that...Its how you script it..You'll need an open environment, with no collision at all and they mustn't be too far from each other...I think that he's (guy from the vid) used those 4 scriptfunctions that quite disable all AI but the most essential one...fighting... The only reason you need a good comp. is because you have to place render all those characters...The AI-thing creates the 15 npc max problem... Naminea
Well i attempted to have 20 imperial watch battle out with 20 dremora, in a world that is blank with stormy weather.. and umm. Well lets just say it was lag city. I got 3 frames a second, half of them didnt battle and instead just wandered. I do know there are solutions to making this happen better, such as, having the scripting so they ignore everything else, can even wander into walls trying to kill eachother, a whole bunch of stuff that will temporarily make the game run less background and instead focus soley on this one battle until you leave. There are various solutions, but i only know of a couple, and i dont know how to USE any of them. So, 3 frames per second on a pretty good computer (not great) with 40 people battling. That one dude with 80 people must really have a great comp/ This seems to be more like a problem with the avarage computer vs. game engine. i am assuming the guy had anywhere from 2 - 4 gigs of RAM and a nice solid video card. The Avarage computer probley wont be able to handle so much going on, but a gaming computer or "higher quality" compture may not have this issue, in fact i can prove this. My old computter could barely run TES4, it met the bare minimum requirments, plus th light bloom plugin to get a better framerate. I was playing the last fight and my computer crashed from the amount of video processing it had to do. As for the new one i am currently using, i can run everything as smooth as possible. But then again this computer was made for running Crysis on all max settings... So really i dont see a problem with the mod as much as who uses it. Catch what im throwin here? Elrodian
i'm going to start with modding this and if it is done good, i'll try to make a convertable version for Empires Glory, a little bit more lore friendlywith reasons and stuff, though if i am going to do this alone it will look like crap so please i only need 1 modder to assist, somebody whocan make scripts! and maybe someone with armor making skills!
