My friend and I are comming up with a new game we plan on releasing some time in the future, we're still working out the frame works, but we would like to know what you guys think. Here is the link:Emortal Earth

 

Post your oppinion on the basic story line

Not bad... but also there are a couple things that don't make sense to me.

 

1: Nuclear war? In 3900 A.D.? You sure you want to use that? And you make it sound as though we haven't even explored outside our own solar system. This is almost 2000 years in the future, I'm sure we'd have some more advanced technology than that by then... just think how much technology has advanced in the last 20 years alone. :D

 

2: Why would the Tundrans not know how to fix their own weapon? And why not just supply Earth with another if the ion cannon is so vital? That part doesn't seem to make much sense to me.

 

All in all not a bad story base. This is just my 2 cents. ^^

 

By the way, trying to read full on yellow on a pitch black background screws with my eyes a bit. You might want to rethink your colour scheme in time. ;)

couldent find your story outline but i would argree with switch (hell we are almost out of our solar system now) and nuclear war will be redundent by then me thinks (im guessing tellaportation tek as a wepon) eg open up a portal to the center of the sun with the other end opend to your enemys... sure to do more damage than any bomb.
