blackpheonixark
K. I know I have a few conflicts and they are just minor problems, but the annoy me a little. First off, all the main Races have solid black eyes. Kinda looks cool in the beginning, but now its just annoying. Not to mention some of the custom races have no eyes at all and deformed colored skin. Another issue with some of the custom races is that their entire skin is just a solid black. Very annoying cause I want to use some of them. Last but not least, some of the custom weapons have the correct outline, but just are solid purple or black (Ex. Clouds Advent Children and Buster swords). I can put a list of the mods I am currently using if need be. Just request. Thank you for your time and help. SavageArtistry
First off, all the main Races have solid black eyes... Not to mention some of the custom races have no eyes at all... You have a conflict between race mods and/or cosmetic mods or possibly some missing textures. If you search the forum for "googly" you'll find lots of info about it. ...and deformed colored skin. Sounds like you have the wrong body textures installed. Are you using body mods? If so you'll need to use some packs which change the default clothing to go with the body mod. Also custom armors/clothing being used with the wrong body mod would have this issue. Another issue with some of the custom races is that their entire skin is just a solid black... some of the custom weapons have the correct outline, but just are solid purple or black This indicates missing textures. You'll either need to reinstall (mods not Oblivion), or check your data directory to see if maybe something was installed in the wrong folder. I just didnt want to go messing around in my textures and meshes and mess something up. Yeah. It Irks me because diffrent races require diffrent body mods. And because of that I have multiple diffrent body mods installed. And I am guessing they just conflict with each other, which means that I have to find out which mods work for which races and use only the nedded body mods for the race I wanna use. Hassel. But oh well. Thanks for your time and extended reply. I appreciate it.
dezdimona
its usually too many cosmetic mods that cause the problems. always make a copy of your data file before adding a new mod and never batch load mods either.

But oh well. Thanks for your time and extended reply. I appreciate it. No problem. If I might suggest something.. if you can use Wrye Bash or TES Gecko or even the Construction set to merge the races you want with a single cosmetic pack, it will save a lot of the trouble with googly eyes. Using myself as an example, I am using my own cosmetic pack, Modified Hair & Eyes, however in my own copy I've merged the Aquamer, Cute Elves, Elves of Lineage II, Tabaxi, Children of Hircine, Salutrian Elves, Chocolate Elves, Lattamer, Dark Lattamer and Raven Elves. All work successfully because I've made sure they are all using hair and eyes from MHE, and because they are all using the same body mod. As far as body mods go you need to choose a single female version and a single male version. If you have enough experience you may be able to adapt clothing made for different body mods to not get texture goof-ups with your chosen body mod. I routinely use stuff made for HGEC without too much of a problem even though the body mod I use is Corwyn's Fantasy Female, but it took me a long time to figure out how to get it to work. For someone who doesn't know how to do this I would suggest choosing the body mod which has the largest selection of wearable items.

I noticed I had 2 diffrent version of the Male Body Replacer running. And Natural Faces is what seemed to cause the No eyes and black eyes on the Regular races. after switching those 2 off, all the races looked beautiful. All except the Dark Elves from the Beautiful Elves add-on. Their arms are the Missing Texture Purple... So now I am thinking it really is a missing texture and I have reinstalled the mod using OBMM. Mrh. No go. as for the weapons, A redownload and reinstall worked. Black skin is fixed as well. Thanks alot, I'll look into merging them.
