Onasaki
So, I got like 5 mods. The ghoulification mod, the radio explosion mod, a child killing mod(That doesn't work very well..) And a couple of extra perk mods. Now, I'm not sure if any of these are to blame for my little problem, but every about 10-15 minutes when I'm listening to GNR, Three Dog gets stuck in a loop of his entrances. It usually happens every time he talks about the Arefu quest. Any fix to this, or need to remove a mod, or anything?
Onasaki
At all? C'mon now.. Don't leave me hanging.
evilneko
Any mods that affect the radio? Radio explosion I presume is the one that makes the radios you encounter in the world blow up when shot? That probably wouldn't cause this.
Onasaki
Yeah I got that. And I didn't think so, I don't have any other mods. It didn't happen until Installed that Ghoulification mod, but that doesn't effect the radio does it? The one where it actually works like a downside for radiation? The cool one? >.> No offense to anyone who has the others. Then again, I installed that the same time I installed the Radio explosion one.
space butler
Maybe you should grab GNR - More Where That Came From. I think it actually removes all of Three Dog's chatter from the radio, plus it adds a bunch of new music. Don't have it myself, just thought it might alleviate the problem. If you dont want that you could try CLEANLY installing your mods again. It's best NOT to unpack straight into Fallout3\Data, rather unpack into a separate directory (I made one called Fallout3\Mod Unpack, call it whatever) and then move the relevant folders (textures, meshes, etc.) into the data dir. Trust me, installing mods dirty will ruin your game eventually. Read the how to install mods section too. Hope this was of some help.
evilneko
There is no real difference between those two methods, except for when dragging and dropping directly from (insert favorite unpacker here) to Fallout 3/Data, the temp files are stored in a different place and removed afterward. ;)
Onasaki
I like Three Dog's chatter though. And yeah, it's not very different. XD One a second note, I removed all my mods, minus two perk mods. But they don't do much but add perks it's the UPP perk mods. But I didn't like the 500 different new perks it added, so I have the quest ones and the acheivement ones. Like kill 500 insects you'll get entomologist.
