GreyedPhoenix
I'm bored and I miss Fallout mod goodness, so I was wondering if someone had worked this out. I'd try to work on it myself, but my gaming machine was also what I'd use for that. Any thoughts and or workable processes would be nice. Even theories that I can try once my better rig is back in operation would be nice too. [edit] In other words I'm looking for a way to get Fallout 3 PC mods to work on the 360 version of Fallout 3, without having to screw around and void warranties with my 360 by changing the way the system works. I really don't believe there's that much of a difference in the way the PC and Console version load up the mods/DLC, it's just that the 360 is more automatic, and the PC you can cherrypick and such. It's just the question of packaging the mod so the 360 recognizes it.

Skotte
Reading the topic title and your post.....it make no sense at all. I agree, though I think the OP is bored & gaming rig is down *shudders* (been there, done that) while I know what's it like without PC gaming goodness I don't understand what GreyedPhoenix wants us to do. GreyedPhoenix
I want to find a way to format the Meshes textures esp files etc into something the 360 console variant can be tricked into thinking is a proper DLC pack. I've been trying to get Fallout 3 to run on my laptop, with limited success. I'll get the Main menu, but it'll implode if I try to start a new game. Any thoughts on this as well. I've read elsewhere that running it through the standard install path can produce some funky results with the game, so that might be it as well. [edit] Here's the exact line of text it gives me: Fallout 3 has stopped working: Windows is checking for a solution to the problem... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~and then: Fallout 3 has stopped working: A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you is a solution is available. I believe I may have figured out my laptop woes... something to do with only having 358 mb of memory available for graphics...no wonder I can't play fallout on my laptop, much less Half life.. neok182
Mods on the 360 are impossible. Even with hacking the hell out of the thing because the game is not designed to look for any of them and there is no launcher to tell it what to load. Not to mention it voids your 360 warranty if you even attempt to hack it and you'll never be able to go on LIVE ever again because microsoft bans hacked consoles on the spot till the year 9999. GreyedPhoenix
And this is where theory meets the brick wall called reality. Thanks for the help on my query.
