freemanendelay Posted August 20, 2023 Share Posted August 20, 2023 (edited) I am personally very baffled at how EVERY longbow has those thick nail-shaped arrows stuck into it. Looks pretty awful, ruins the beauty of the bow. The spiky protrusions by the center, part of the wood itself, are fine, but the metal bits...bizarre. You can even see how the bow they made the bow part first, complete with lovely metal details, and then stuck the "nails" into it without even blending it together well.
