1 gig each and all the newest Skyrim mods are really dragging me down (Fresh game rebuild and not giving them up)- I have already dropped down from 1080p for a few days now one resolution and now just getting crushed in Whiterun- kind of partial to AMD software so the 760 is not on my short list and $420 for 280x does not sound too great rite now ether-

Can any one say from experience if the extra vram made a difference?

I have had two 1 gb vid cards in crossfire and the game has a few bugs, but unless you want to play the vanilla version(in which case you are going to have to mess with your .ini files MAKE SURE YOU COPY AND SAVE THE ORIGINAL FILES before trying some suggested changes) oh, and mine are twin 5670's. the single best mod is the one that makes the game go higher than 4 gig.(IMO) The only problem I have now, and I modded mu ini files and run a ton of mods, is that I have to save/shut down the game because of heavy striping after about half an hour, and also have some weird color spray patterns too. All in all, I can play it though.
