Most of the time when I fast travel to Goodsprings and sometimes when I just walk up to it the game crashes. Anyone know which mod causes with problem?

Just took a quick look and this jumped out at me as odd just from the ((i've installed mods since Oblivion) standpoint......

Don't know what mod that is, but to me it looks you would need possibly 2 of those and not all 4. Could be way off base but a look at that readme would let ya know.

Have you been Using BOSS to sort your load order?

With that many mods i would think you would need either a Merged Patch or a Bashed Patch to run smooth.

This is probably not going to be the answer your looking for but I was in a similar situation just a few days ago and the way I solved it was starting with a fresh game and installing just a few mods at a time and testing them in game as I went along, about 5 at a time. Also I had to read the mod's instructions very carefully because they actually list most of the mods they conflict with or at least what types of mods they conflict with. It took me around 3 hours to do and I went through it very carefully but now my game has never been better, I can play for hours without any crashes or glitches so it was worth the hassle to me. I also created several backups as I went along, saved certain configurations of mods and whatnot because I learned even if you uninstall a mod sometimes it never completely leaves and that just permanently causes problems.

So if you want to try the method I used I first

Reinstalled the game

Installed and tested 5 mods at time, start with the big mods the ones that makes the most impact

read each mods installation instructions carefully as you go along

Use FNVEdit to double check for conflicts after each 5 mods installed

Backup the entire FNV folder in steam including the files located in my documents whenever you feel appropriate, I think I did that about 5 times I have over 100GBs of FNV files :)

Repeat till you get the job done I suppose

I know, I know my answer stinks and its a big pain in the rear but it worked wonders for me, I just followed the advice of others on this forum trying to return the favor. good luck.

Sometimes crashing consistantly in a specific place is caused by a mod that was removed. If a mod that adds something critical to the game and that something critical is stored in a save then when the game attempts to load a cell that once contained whatever it was it can no longer find something that it is looking for . It depends on what kind of asset was removed - usually stuff like an object ( gun, clothing) is no problem. but a building or a mod that changed the landscape and had some scrip attached can be a game killer.

Try to figure out if you removed any mods - especially quest , landscape or big mods that affected Goodsprings at around the time this problem started.

Try going back to a very early save and test. Then jump forward and back with saved games to try to zero in on exactly when the problem started. Your saves all have date/time stamps to help in this. Finding when it started may make it easier to find what caused it. And whether it is a mod you added or one you removed.

Okay. I'll true it out.
