Hello there.

I have a problem since yesterday and I don't know how to solve it. I've searched through internet and tested all sort of things and it didn't help at all.

I was installing and testing mods, and when I decided to start playing, I tried to go in third person, but the camera was kinda bugged. I'll try to explain:

When I move my character with the WASD, it doesn't matter where the camera is aiming, it resets back to it's original y axis position, looking forward. For example, if I'm looking at my feet or at the sky (in third person, first person works fine), when I move the camera resets and looks forward. It makes it impossible to aim and look up or down. Also, while I'm moving it's impossible to look up or down. Is just impossible. Though I can turn the camera left or right.

I thought it was one of my mods, and since I didn't know wich one was, I deactivated them all. But the problem is still there. I found it only happens when I run my game with the SKSE. If I run the normal game it works fine.

I don't know what is happening, and if somone knows how to fix it, please help.

Thank you.

I WORKED IT OUT!

God damn it, this has been bugging me for so long. I had the exact same issue, with SKSE the y axis was locked in third person mode if I was moving or in combat. I manually uninstalled every mod I had to see if any of those were causing the problem, to no avail. Do you have immersiveFP installed? If so, uninstall it and delete it. This might not rid you of the problem completely. I had uninstalled it also, and deleted all it's files, but the problem still prevailed.

Thinking about the fact that it only had the issue in SKSE however, I saw that with the installation of the mod comes a plugin for SKSE. You can find it in: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins. The little bugger is called FirstPersonPlugin.dll. Simply delete this file, and everything will work out ok!

Thank you! I had the same problem happen to me and after trying to delete my Skyrim.ini and turning off all my mods to no avail I finally found this thread.

This should probably be added as a note on the Immersive FP page.

Yo, I just tried everything within 5 links of google's first page, nothing is working. I'm running a crappy laptop, IDEFK how my fps is this good.. I'm running on high graphics, no lag, y axis off the charts, fps limiter on and set to 20, this is my pref.ini>

[Controls]
fGamepadHeadingSensitivity=0.4000
fMouseHeadingSensitivity=0.0230
fMouseHeadingYScale=0.0001
fMouseHeadingXScale=0.0230
bAlwaysRunByDefault=1
bInvertYValues=0
bGamePadRumble=0
bMouseAcceleration=0
bUseKinect=0
I toggled vsync on and off, still no go, I move my mouse like 3 centimeters up and the game thinks I got in a car crash and decides to give my character whiplash. =|
Actually let me know if I should post all of my ini's because it seems that the ini's I have is beastmode for outdated graphics cards.
My problem (kind of >_>) arrived when I uninstalled all my mods, deleted skyrim, and made a fresh install and used brand new inis with a few tweaks to LOD, shadows, particles, water, and view distance.
With my old skyrim and the 34 mods I had on, some of which were just uglier meshes for all of skyrim for what I thought was better fps, my y axis was normal, I was probably running 10fps at the time. =|
Srsly if anybody with a crappy laptops like mine is reading this, do not install any mod telling you it'll change the graphics so you can play more smoothly unless it's the mod that makes everything look like clay. Just uninstall all mods, sort out what you do not need, the priority is use the least amount of scripts possible. Get a fresh install of skyrim, run it.
Unless you don't use mods, then I am sorry for your loss but there's nothing you can do but get a gaming rig.
