tjgoldstein
Hi, I'm searching for a cheat/mod that I had installed on my previous computer. As I was unable to transfer it across, I just couldn't work out how, I lost the file when I got a new computer. Stupid me didn't write down the name or the site where I got it. Ok... It's a cheat/ mod that is situated in the start village of Morrowind, Sedya Neen. The cheat/mod ensures that the boat that brought your character to Sedya Neen stays and also allows you to talk to the ship's captain, which is an Argonian. You go up to the captain of the ship and he asks you for some sort of drink... even if you don't have it, you can just say 'yes' without any problems and the captian continues to talk to you. The captain says that he is retiring and gives you a key to the Sedya Neen lighthouse basement (created for this mod/cheat?) Inside the cellar is a full suit of green glass armour, 4 glass long swords (fire, lightening, frost & poison) There is also a full Masters alchamey set, a huge amount of money and a daedric dagger stuck in a practice dummy. Does this cheat/mod sound familiar to anyone... if it does, I would appreciate any and all help in finding it again. Thanks to all. tj
Raven7669
Since you are already cheating you could add the items using the console. You just wouldn't have the basement.
tjgoldstein
Thanks for the quick reply. However, I don't know how to add in the cheats myself nor do I have a console as I'm playing on an ordinary PC. If someone could give me some help in adding the items into the game, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks again.
Peregrine
.However, I don't know how to add in the cheats myself nor do I have a console as I'm playing on an ordinary PC. Uh, why wouldn't you? The console is a standard part of the pc version. Just press the ` key.
CrazyGilbert
peregrine, he is confused he thinks the console is like an xbox or a PS2... no, the console is like a machine that runs with morrowind th7at can (if you type in the right codes which are not hard to learn) will change the game without having to fire up the cs! yeah, and to poen it press the ~ key
Raven7669
Possible spoiler ahead basically press the ~ key on your keyboard. A window will come up. in this window you can type various commands that will do anything from change your stats to adding items to your inventory. In your case for example the commandplayer -> additem "object ID" X <(# quantity)>for example this is the particular line you would type for one of the items you are looking forplayer -> additem, "daedric dagger" 1 for the other items there are various ways to get the object ID but the easiest is to go in the construction set and look them up. here is a link that you may find useful http://www.stratosgroup.com/guides/html/20...wes/?cat=cheats Have fun and don't abuse. It's no fun to cheat to much
HornyBuddha
The mod you are looking for is "Chargen Boat, Captain". I don't know where to find it. Good luck!
tjgoldstein
Hi, Thanks to everyone who helped me on this search. As for the whole console thing, yeah, I did automatically assume 'console' was referring to Xbox and such like and I appreciate the tips on how to put in a cheat directly. :)
