Oblivion CS

Sorry if this are very old n already answered questions.

I’m trying to make a few mods for Oblivion, (bandit camps in Oblivion are a bit dull. Usually just 1 or 2. Not much of a challenge).

It’s very confuse to me the fact that the CS doesn’t have a filter like the CK.

 

Basically:

1: I can’t find factions;

2: Nor I’m able to duplicate NPCs (in this case bandits, for a mod that I would like to make).

Question: How I do those in CS?

 

In the CK its simple right click and an option to duplicate shows up, than drag the duplicated, a new name and unique Ref ID. When asked to create a new form: No and yes.

PS: And no tanks I don’t have nor I will install the CSE. Reason: To many stuff as requirements.

There isn't an option in context menu, but you can create a copy of existing NPC by choosing to edit him and then change his editor ID to something different. Then you will be informed in new window about it and asked if you want to create a new form. After choosing yes, you will have a new copy of this NPC with new editor ID, same as in CK.

 

Factions are found in the main menu under "Character->Faction..." submenu. To attach a faction to existing NPC open both "Faction" window and "NPC" edit window and then open NPC's faction part by clicking on "Factions" tab. Then select a faction in Faction window by left-click. Then hold left mouse button and make drag & drop to NPC's "Factions and Ranks" field in its edit window. Hi. As you realize, I'm not an expert.

I did made a few very basic mods for myself.

The Skyrim mod "More Bsandit Camps" by skillest inpired me.

I'll follow your suggestions.

I will now start to make an Oblivion simple mod for my myself adding more enemies to combat.
