insomnious
The Baldur's Gate 3 extension has now been updated to 1.3.9 that contains the fix for the above. It should mean that Vortex will now not crash when it finds PAK files that have been added outside of Vortex.Restarting Vortex should kick start the auto update process. If not, you might have to wait 15 mins and try again. Hope this fix works for you all and thanks for your patience. Regards, insomnious

Regards, insomniousOn my end the update rolled out, the load order issue is still there for me, but instead now it doesn't give an error message and just leaves the load order blank, I've tried launching the game after hitting deploy and waiting for it to finish loading, but the game just launches as if there were no mods. modsplease1234
i haven't played in a week and havent installed new mods/updated vortex until today just to find that everything is messed up... it's like vortex isn't connected to the mods folder at all even though it is marked as the staging folder. uninstalling anything through vortex doesn't affect anything in the mods folder. my load order is forever saying i don't have an orderable entries despite files being in the mod folder.... making every mod playthrough i have (hint: all of them) completely unplayable.... jvvc
im getting error when importing load order (the error is the folowing one) its a big issue when i need to play online and need to switch profiles TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'id') at C:\Users\JOAO VITOR\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\plugins\Vortex Extension Update - Baldur's Gate 3 v1.3.10\loadOrder.js:231:40 at Array.reduce (<anonymous>) at C:\Users\JOAO VITOR\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\plugins\Vortex Extension Update - Baldur's Gate 3 v1.3.10\loadOrder.js:226:44 at Generator.next (<anonymous>) at fulfilled (C:\Users\JOAO VITOR\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\plugins\Vortex Extension Update - Baldur's Gate 3 v1.3.10\loadOrder.js:28:58) at tryCatcher (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\util.js:16:23) at Promise._settlePromiseFromHandler (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:547:31) at Promise._settlePromise (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:604:18) at Promise._settlePromise0 (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:649:10) at Promise._settlePromises (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:729:18) at _drainQueueStep (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:93:12) at _drainQueue (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:86:9) at Async._drainQueues (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:102:5) at Async.drainQueues (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:15:14) at process.processTicksAndRejections (node:internal/process/task_queues:95:5) i'll attach the modsettings.lsx if that helps solve the issue, Vortex and all mods are updated edit: when i change profiles i need to purge then deploy mods again becuase the mods from the previously used profile will remain, im not sure if that is related to this issue or not but i'm adding here just in case modsettings.lsx Edited January 6 by jvvc add info that may or may not help solving the issue

Click the Vortex Extensions tab and check the list to see if you have it installed. If it is not there, find it... Where? I don't even know where to begin to look. gobslly
Hi there, currently having the same issues. ive already gone through most if not all of the options listed above, such as updating vortex, emptying the mods folder in appdata. doing things like bg3 mod manager changes, reinstalling vortex, updating bg3 from pre 6 back to latest, among a few other things. though im still receiving the same notification of failed to write load order, with these details: TypeError: Cannot set properties of undefined (setting 'node') at C:\Users\Apex Gaming PCs\Desktop\Vortex mod manager\resources\app.asar.unpacked\bundledPlugins\game-baldursgate3\loadOrder.js:365:37 at Generator.next (<anonymous>) at fulfilled (C:\Users\Apex Gaming PCs\Desktop\Vortex mod manager\resources\app.asar.unpacked\bundledPlugins\game-baldursgate3\loadOrder.js:28:58) at tryCatcher (C:\Users\Apex Gaming PCs\Desktop\Vortex mod manager\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\util.js:16:23) at Promise._settlePromiseFromHandler (C:\Users\Apex Gaming PCs\Desktop\Vortex mod manager\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:547:31) at Promise._settlePromise (C:\Users\Apex Gaming PCs\Desktop\Vortex mod manager\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:604:18) at Promise._settlePromise0 (C:\Users\Apex Gaming PCs\Desktop\Vortex mod manager\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:649:10) at Promise._settlePromises (C:\Users\Apex Gaming PCs\Desktop\Vortex mod manager\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:729:18) at _drainQueueStep (C:\Users\Apex Gaming PCs\Desktop\Vortex mod manager\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:93:12) at _drainQueue (C:\Users\Apex Gaming PCs\Desktop\Vortex mod manager\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:86:9) at Async._drainQueues (C:\Users\Apex Gaming PCs\Desktop\Vortex mod manager\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:102:5) at Async.drainQueues (C:\Users\Apex Gaming PCs\Desktop\Vortex mod manager\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:15:14) does anyone have any ideas or solutions? i really want to play patch 7 but ive sort of fell down the mod rabbit whole so it wouldnt be fun without mods like bags bags bags and auto seller. BionicDance
Welp, I buried myself in "Starfield" and "Astroneer" for now. I've done three run-throughs of BG3, so maybe it's time for a break, anyway.
