smr1957
The .ini file needs to be named StarfieldCustom.ini. Naming it as something else will not work. Also, you do not state what the problems were that you were having. It could be an issue with the mod, with where you had placed the files (they go in C:\Users\your name\Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data) or not having the correct information in the .ini: [Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1sResourceDataDirsFinal=

I dont use photo mode. ill check when i get home, but im pretty sure it is named starfieldcustom.ini. magaloh851
I started having the same problem after installing the DLSS mod. Removing the mod files did not solve the problem.
DaManInSoCal
I encountered this problem because i copied pasted into the the starfield ini [Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 because it already had [Archive] it ended up having 2 like this[Archive][Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1... i deleted one [Archive} and now works fine... i have gamepass version of the game
