mofosans Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 Hi, As title reads. I'd like to modify the triggers so that I can hold the button for single shot and burst fire modes, this is good for accessibility and also RSI. Any idea on how this might be achieved using current modding techniques? Thanks, H
smr1957 Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 Probably not possible without the tools (xEdit and the CK) - and I would be leery of any mod that attempted this without using the proper tools. Indeed, at this stage, except for mods that are replacers, or those which just modify the .ini (though I'd be careful with .ini mods as wells, as changing or adding lines may have unintended consequences), I would not consider using mods (or at least use extreme caution in using them) - especially anything that is more complex - there just are not the proper tools available yet, and people - including mod creators - are still learning what makes the game work, under the hood.

Hi, Thank you for the reply, sounds like tools are coming out 2024. Plenty of time to enjoy vanilla until then, only mods I have got working are UI mods to speed somethings up and also change FOVs on foot, and in the ship. Just QoL stuff, I think the game is great, just has some minor issues... also the DLSS mod is a must with a RTX card. Cheers for info though :)
