Serrieth
Ya ok so I am now making an island and I have noticed that it takes WAY! too much time to paint or texture the freaken land?!? So is there a way to make the painting tool bigger to cover more area so that I may get the job done faster?
draighox
No, you can't. At least I haven't figured that yet.
Adras
No, but as you probably figured out, you can change the land edit size.
hawkey
You could place You're items and stuff on first so then you can just texture and paint around them...
Kevin Woodman
yeah i think it only paints one square ata time, after i clicked on each square individiually for 15 minutes, i found that if I hold the mouse button down while moving it around it paints a little faster, :embarassed: put on some music, make a pot of coffee, and prepare to sit for while. Adras
Yeah, just hold down the right mouse button and work your magic. What I suggest it get the grass down first (or whatever is the bulk of the land), then do sand (if its by a beach) or the second largest bulk, then do paths and/or roads. That way you can just go over what grass is there, and you dont have to plan around it. I find that to be the easiest, but do whatever feeds your belly... Wookiee
there is another homebrew editor that may or may not be up to speeding this process up (last time i checked he was working on direct x to do just that)
Serrieth
Yes I found that you cannot expand the size of the brush, Which I must say stinks! Anyway Thanks for any help you might have. I guess I will have to get use to sitting on my but for a long time.... just one thing...how on earth did the people who made morrowind paint the WHOLE island of vvardenfell, omg! I can't imagine how time consuming that was!?
Raven7669
Well if you look at it that way just consider this.\ If they get paid by the hour the longer it takes to complete the more money they make. At the same time though they can't intentionally be goofing off (at least not too much). SO you have to think what is the best way to milk as much time as possible and hence more money. Make the brush smaller right. Of course if they are on salary this plain goes right down the S#$%ter. Just a thought though
