MrSnowFoxy Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Okay.. where to start, i know next to nothing about the creation kit, apart from making custom weapons with being able to upgrade them and such. to basically copy and pasting a building to add somewhere else with no map marker, and i wanted to make an amulet to boost a few skills, made the amulet, problem is. i do not know how to add enchantments such as the one from an amulet of talos. which is what mine is based on relatively, I looked through almost every edit option for an amulet in the skyrim creation kit. but i still dont know how to apply said effect to the item, ive already looked for tutorials and such, havent found one. can anyone help me with this by telling me how to apply an effect or enchantment on an amulet?
JobVanDam Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 I personally use TES5edit to make my mods but what I do is duplicate a similar item and investigate what is diferent about it.

Sdesser Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 You can only place one enchantment on an item. The trick to add multiple is to make a custom enchantment that has multiple effects on it.1. Create a new enchantment (ex. AAAAOwnAmuletEnchant).1.1 You can do this by searching the whole CK for EnchArmor* and then copying one of the vanilla item enchantments and then modifying it. 2. Add the spell effects on it that you'd like (Effects ==> Right Click ==> New).2.1 Commonly used enchantments can be found in the spell effects window starting with EnchFortify.2.2 Amulet of Talos effect would be called: EnchFortifyShoutTimerConstantSelf.2.3 Repeat Step 2 to add all the effects you want. (Changing the effect magnitude makes the enchant more or less powerful. EnchFortifyResistMagic with 90 magnitude would give you 90% magic resist) 3. Once you got the enchant made, open up your amulets item edit window.4. Select the enchantment you just made (AAAAOwnAmuletEnchant)5. Save and test it in game!
