Trying to make a Fallout music video /Collage but the sh1tty software microsoft is forcing me to use, makes it way harder than it needs to be.

They manage to achieve the seemingly the impossible feat of removing functionality while making it less user friendly at the same time.

 

I could have cranked this out in 10 minutes on the legacy software from Win 7, that they deleted in windows 11.

Anyone have a recommendation for a decent video editing software, nothing fancy, I am just making a collage of FO4 screenshots with "InterStellar" music.

Or a way to get my Win 7 video editor back, I forgot what it was called.

 

With MS ClipChamp I keep getting the audio interrupted or 0.2 seconds between some pics.

Been dealing with it for an hour now. :confused:

Dealing with audio interruptions and glitches during editing can indeed be frustrating. Have you managed to find a solution?

No then I just I had stopped and will reengage soon.

I did a search for "open-source" but found them listed more than just 1 video editor.

Which one are you recommending? :)

It's a little complicated and not intuitive, because you can classify it as a post-processing and color correction editor. But it has an editing table and very excellent timing control. The free version has only one import format.
