STARTUP FAILED after clicking on install update from within Vortex

This is the 2nd time I have updated Vortex since installing it and the 2nd time I have had it be total garbage and fail to update itself properly. Someone needs to program this the right way.

 

Vortex needs to access "C:\programdata\vortex\plugins\vortex extension update - 7 days to die v1.0.11\action.js but it's write protected.

 

Well, guess what? It's VORTEX THAT WRITE PROTECTED IT.

 

It's whining that "when you configure directories and access rights, you need to ensure Vortex can still access data directories. This is usually not a bug in Vortex". Well, guess what? IT WAS VORTEX THAT SCREWED IT UP, SO YES, IT'S A BUG IN VORTEX

Are you able to delete Vortex Extension Update - 7 Days to Die v1.0.11.7z in Vortex/Downloads/site folder?

Or in - C:\programdata\vortex\plugins\vortex extension update - 7 days to die v1.0.11
