First Person Death Camera - help

Hi everyone!

 

I'm trying to make a mod that enables you to look through player's eyes when he/she dies, so it doesn't move to third person camera.

When player dies, view should stay in first person and follow head movement with fade to black effect applied on screen.

 

I tried messing with CameraShot options in GECK. There's option for player's death cameras (3 of them) and there's also an option for first person, but it doesn't work as I imagined (very buggy).

 

My idea now is the following...

Would it be possible to somehow attach camera to human skeleton's head using nifskope and then use it in Geck instead of default camera paths?
If it is, how would I pull it off?

 

I have some experience with nifskope, but never did anything seriously like adding nodes.

 

Any help would be appreciated. (:
