That burning passion has left me wanting to play a game about being a photographer, so I've been playing Afrika...Not the best game. So I got this idea, It would be awesome if you could essentially play as a photographer in Fallout. Like you would go around taking pictures of the people of the wasteland, and document conflicts. And maybe different people would have negative/positive reactions to you being there and taking pictures. Also I think since you wouldn't be in a lot of direct conflict, your character would have to be really weak, so you'd be force to try to get pictures of say NCR troops fighting Caesar's Legion without taking a stray bullet. But I doubt anyone would put the time into crafting such a work, especially since it might not be something most player would care about. So in light of this, I want only one thing: For the Codac r9000 to be able to take pictures. Like whatever was in it's frame lines to get saved to a folder or something. I know I could just take screenshots, but I want something comparable to the Snapmatic cam in GTAV. Plus with a depth of field mod, this would make me feel like I'm a wasteland photographer! Teabone3 Posted January 23, 2014 Share Posted January 23, 2014 I attempted this in Fallout3 and stopped when I was unable to figure out how to output an image from the players perspective. There are ways to have the player animate pulling out a camera and taking pictures (thankfully due to that scene in fallout3 in the value 101 where your picture is taken with your BB gun.
