Hi Guys. I am looking for some assistance with vortex. I am not particularly knowledgeable with computers so please keep it simple if you can help me.

I am running vortex version 1.9.5. I am playing fallout 4 via steam. When I logged in through vortex the other day I noticed I have several mods with orange triangles. When I hover over the triangle I get a message informing me that "this mod has no source assigned" along with an explanation that the source tells vortex where the mod came from. I am wondering why this happened all of a sudden and how can I fix it. I think it is not allowing me to update those mods, but I am not certain. I have included a screen shot of what I am using. I have been playing the sim settlements 2 mod(s) so i am not sure if using those disabled something or not. Any help you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Well the names in the screenshot appear to have Nexus filename identifiers, so try r.clicking on the mod name and choosing:

'Fix missing Ids'

with luck Vortex will be able to find the correct source page if the mod is indeed from Nexus (might be a problem if the mod has subsequently been hidden?)

Otherwise if the mod is from Nexus you can find the page for the mod via a search on Nexus and fill in the info by double clicking on the mod name and filling in the appropriate box.

As far as I know there are no other sources of mods that use the Nexus/Vortex api for updating. I also use the source box to store the page for mods from afkmods and other sites. it doesn't notify updates, but it does make looking for them manually easier:)
