daventry
I just use the SSR Skyrim Skill Redesigned Mod with its Enchanting Perk Trees while the other Mod "More Slots for Enchanting" is Below that Mod in my Mod List that Adds Extra Slots for Enchantinghttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40670/? If you can make your Mod that Adds Extra Enchanting Slots like 10 or 15 witch is Compatible with SSR, then i will Remove the More Slots for Enchanting Mod. Xander9009
And that works? That's how I have mine and my tree is practically unusable. Did you check to see if your tree looks like either the vanilla or SSR design or something different entirely (like mine is)?
daventry
This is what my Skill Tree for Enchanting looks like, it seems to be the same as the SSR Mod with the More Slots at the end.http://s30.postimg.org/nc0n78kvj/enchant.jpg http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/49526-3-1388857379.jpg Edited February 7, 2014 by daventry
Xander9009
As it stands, it'll work for yours. I've been trying to fix a bug but I can't seem to get it working. I've only been working on it for short times, though. The bug is that if you level up while the script is running, then it'll stop running in the future. The only fix is to uninstall it and reinstall it. I tried preventing the scripts from messing up in the first place, but that didn't work. I tried adding in a reset function so you could fix it without reinstalling, but that similarly didn't work. I'm going to keep trying for a couple of days to get that fixed. If it doesn't work, I'll post it anyway and you'll just have to try not to level up while the script is running (for the record, the script takes about 15-25 seconds to run after it runs the first time). daventry
When you Upload it, call it a Modders Resource so Members can help fix the Mod for you, then they give you the Fix and you upload it again. Edited February 14, 2014 by daventry
Xander9009
Calling it a modder's resource is to signify that it can be and is intended to be used in their mods, not that it has a bug that needs fixed. Also, in your signature, it doesn't reduce the 255 limit, that would be making the limit smaller, which the opposite of what you want. You mean it'll effectively increase the 255 mod limit. Or that it'll reduce the number of mods counting toward the 255 limit. Anyway, I won't be uploading it today, probably. It'll be tomorrow. I'm extremely busy today (just like yesterday), but I should be free tomorrow for the most part. (Plus, I'm still hoping I can think of a way to fix it before uploading it. I really don't like uploading something I already know is flawed.)
daventry
Not a problem Friend, take your time and i think a Modders Recourse Release might be a Mistake like you say. If you have better wording for me about Mod Limit, that would be great, because i see many Mods being Release thats just a plain esp. Here are Mods witch i have to Sacrifice that are all esp Files that could Easily be turned into its Counterpart. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1147474-requesting-a-merging/ Edited February 17, 2014 by daventry
Xander9009
Yeah, it would imply they should take the scripts and stuff and include it int heir own mods to have the effects of the mod, like with SJogga's auto sorting scripts. But including my scripts in their mods would not work very well at all. It would cause a lot of problems with multiple mods trying to simultaneously add and remove perks.
