Health won't decrease (quickly enough?)

I'm in Bleak Falls Barrow (still very early in the game) and getting attacked by a bandit but my health doesn't seem to really go down. I'd like slightly (if not moderately) more difficult fights than vanilla, but not so difficult - such as bandits that can use health/magic potions/spells . . . .

Okay, you're using SkyRe, so your game's already more difficult than vanilla...

 

I hate to be that guy, but what's your difficulty set to? If it's Adept or lower, try setting it to something higher. It may also help if you go somewhere other than the introductory dungeon.

I tried setting it to legendary and the damage in Skytweak to as high as it will go (10.00), until I enough health and or enough armor I would going to stick to adept (which is the default difficulty)
