smr1957 Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 You'll need to wait for the Creation Kit - which, by the way, all mod authors really should be doing, for almost any mod that is more than just a texture replacer, as there is a great deal that is not known and cannot be know, until the release of the CK.

smr1957 Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 As of now, retexturing is just about the only fairly safe modding that can be done (though, even that is not completely known to be 100% certain). Anything else, is best left until the CK releases. But, until then, sure, try your hand at doing some retextures - it will at least allow you to learn some basics (at least as far as working with textures go), and once the CK is out, then you can move on to other things.
