glowbow11
Even better... even better.. also there should be a special forge where you craft it, maybe the forge should be surrounded in soul gems
ArchangelZero7
Just remember, like Gerandirr (Sorry if misspelled) said, the more complicated the mod, the less likely it is to get done. I'd say just stick to making it a skyforge only thing. That way you still have to make an effort to go forge it, but it doesn't require any extra effort on the part of the modder. If a modder does pick this up, and is willing to do more, then start introducing more ideas :)For now, it seems like a relatively solid idea. What were you thinking in terms of stats, materials, etc? MagnusMac
If someone made the armour (easily done by retexturing the stalhrim with soul gem textures) I could make the enchainments and the quest
ArchangelZero7
Hmmm If someone can point me in the right direction as to how to learn to do this, I can learn it and be of some help here. Err try to at least :P No harm in trying right?
MagnusMac
Go on ahead and google it, when I started to dip my toe into modding I chose the more technical route but I did see a lot of stuff for texturing
ArchangelZero7
Well I'd actually like to make my own models and stuff, but I don't know what it entails. Tbh I hate retextures, and I have a lot of free time so I'd rather make my own stuff.
glowbow11
I was thinking that it would take:10 soul gem fragments5/4 black soul gems3 greater or grand soul gems (the bigger one)2 leather6/12 leather strips1/2 bear pelts2 steel ingots. It would have the stats of the ebony armour and not daedric or dragonbone cause it shouldn't have a huge armour rating but cover that up with fantastic enchantments
glowbow11
If someone made the armour (easily done by retexturing the stalhrim with soul gem textures) I could make the enchainments and the questGreat!Even though we are not looking for a retexture for the stalhrim armour it is still a good start, if you'll kindly make the quest and the enchantments we just need one more guy.But may I ask, how many quests have you made and have you been experienced with voice acting? (I'm so so sorry this came out so so rude. SORRY) Edited January 20, 2014 by glowbow11
ArchangelZero7
Well we can always use the retexture as an archetype to at least see what the textures would look like on armor. Im trying to figure out the retexture stuff atm so with any luck I'll have an idea within the week. (Hopefully, since I'm a newb to this kind of stuff). Also, is there any lore as to the durability of soulgems? I know it may be too low, but I almost think it should be around orcish stats, maybe a little higher?
