None of the Shadowmarks appear in my game. Help?

Same problem, it also extends to Rune Spells, totally invisible, my graphics are set to Medium quality, I don't use the High res pack for performance reasons, and I was having this issue both vanilla and with my extensive list of mods. I haven't tried the verify game cache thing, but I will here in a moment and edit with my results.

Can't help you with a pirated version. If you want to play a legitimate copy on a mac, apparently Bootcamp is an option: linkie

 

If that were entirely correct why is there a thread on the nexus for Skyrim on a mac?

In launcher, go to:
Options -> Advanced -> Decal Quantity -> set to Medium or higher.

Ok, so it appears that the vanilla game DOES show Shadowmarks, but when I update the game up to U13 (with and without DLCs) they disappear. At this point I've pretty much given up but posting in case someone someday will stumble upon the same problem and they might find something here helpful.
