None of the Shadowmarks appear in my game. Help?

Same problem, it also extends to Rune Spells, totally invisible, my graphics are set to Medium quality, I don't use the High res pack for performance reasons, and I was having this issue both vanilla and with my extensive list of mods. I haven't tried the verify game cache thing, but I will here in a moment and edit with my results.

In launcher, go to:
Options -> Advanced -> Decal Quantity -> set to Medium or higher.
