  1. It's just old. 1680x1050 used to be the standard for 22"+ monitors before 1920x1080 became common.
  2. Sorry I don't have any ideas for that container problem.
  3. it somewhat works it you if you remove 0007a0fe or one enchantment ID from all 4 lines, but the armor does not seem to have any different enchantments.
  4. It sounds to me like steam thinks it is still installed. Try to uninstall it, and then install it again.
  5. If you don't have access to a second computer a live antivirus CD may help.
  6. I have not noticed any loss of gloss, but I have not been looking for that. I will have to pay attention to that. I have yet to see a drop in FPS looking at anything. I had a draugr skeleton issue a few weeks ago that would cause the fps to hover at ~4 in dungeons with them. I had to look up what cell stabilizer is I forgot :P it looks like it is http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41592/? No idea how old the copy I have is.
  7. Try remove the High res texture pack, but you need a better GPU.
  8. I have 2 GTX 660s and maintain a solid 60fps with ~190 mods, with many texture replaces, and mesh enhancements. There is no stutter, and the game runs great. I have more lined up for the next time I start a new game. I had never looked at the STEp page until earlier today, and I don't know if anything I have done is there. The game runs great, and I don't want to try and fix what is not broken. I don't use any ENB and I think they all make the game look bad. I have not had problem with FPS dropping after I found that a skeleton was the cause. I do use MSI afterburner but I can close that and still get the same performance as all it is used for is a custom fan speed profile. The FPS does drop on loading screen, but I blame that on running Skyrim from an HDD not a SSD. The only change in the NVIDIA control panel I have made are to force off vsync, and change SLI to alternate farme rendering 1. Now enabling 3D vision on the other hand that does cause a much lower frame rate, and the shadow problems hurt my eyes. Now I'm curious to see what the FPS will be like if I disable the frame limiter I'm using. mod list performance monitor screenshot
  9. When you reinstalled Skyrim did you look in the install folder and verify that there was nothing left?
  10. Remember the goal of vsync is to limit the frames/second to your refresh rate. If turning off vsync makes the game run better for you, but you want to keep it under 60 fps you can use enb, or another option to limit the fps to 60. MSI Afterburner does not do much of what the NVIDIA Control Panel does, and you get an option to install RivaTuner StatisticsServer during installation. I don't know about NVIDIA inspector as I don't use it. Yes the NVIDIA Control Panel has the options for Vsync, and que depth. (i think is what you called it) They are called Vertical Sync, and Virtual Reality pre-rendered frames. They are located under manage 3d settings, and I would recommend they that are changed under program settings not global settings. I use a frame limiter, and disable vsync because I won't go back to 60hz refresh for gaming.
  11. Only problem with that theory is the 680 is not a DX9 video card it is DX11. If you really want to try a DX9 video card the newest one I know of is the GeForce 7950 GX2 and that was a POS even when new.
  12. I only have a few theories relate to performance ATM, and no way to test them. All I can say for sure is that I get far better perofrmance from my old GPUs then I have expeced to. I hope someone wth provable information will help you.
  13. If you are running @1920x1080 your GPU should be able to handle those mods at those settings with no problem. What are you doing in game when you notice the "hiccups"? Another thing you can try is to disable vsync in Skyrim, and use ENB to limit your FPS to 60 or less. While Vsync works fine for Skyrim if you use a 60hz refresh rate, it does not work very well if you use a higher one. (ie 120hz)
  14. Not just skyrim http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2982784-how-to-fix-all-the-broken-links/
  15. Right now racemenu does allow for more charector customization, but it still get what goes on what gender/race the same way as vanilla. If you want to add hair to elves, kajiit, orcs. or argonions you need to download mods specifically for those races. The only mod I know about that does what you want is http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11282/? I have IIRC4 hair mods, and I went to look at how many options there are for khajiit...There are 5 female and 6 male hair styles added. About 30 for elves, but I forgot the exact number. About 425 for female and 50 male for breton, imperial, nord, and redguard.
  16. I had that happen with coins once except the number was negative. I had to remove the coins, then add the same number I added the first time to get back to the original amount. You can try to use player.removeitem id 999999999999999999 where id is the id of the arrows you gave yourself.
  17. If that is the case something is wrong, I get that with all downloads regradless if I have downloaded them before or not. I am not suggesting the features are removed. What I am trying to suggest it an option to toggle them off similar to how to how can change a setting to show or hide all adult files.
  18. An option to dislike, thumbs down, etc. would is soemthing the site can use. An option to hide the sites endorsement windows would be a good thing. also An option to hide the donation prompts at download would be a good thing. For me. I have nothing again endorsing mods, but I won't do so until after I have used the mod, and know if it worth it. If I am going to endorse something it will only be after I have decided if it is worth it. Same for donations. I have nothing against them, but the site asking me to donate before I know if the mod is worth it. If I am going to donate to someone it will only be after I have decided if that mod is worth it. However unlike endorsements getting asked to donate before having used the mod at all seems like begging to me, and if anything ensures it wont happen.
  19. Have you tried reinstalling NMM? With skyrim for example you don't need NMM running to play the game with mods. If you have SKSE Installed you can run Skyrim by running SKSE from your install directory.
  20. It should not be your CPU. If you have texture mods installed it would be a wise idea to remove the offical HD textures. AFAIK the game still needs to load those files even if you have replaced most of their textures. How much RAM is windows using when you are just looking at the desktop? My PC with Windows 7 x64 Ultimate uses around 5.5GB of RAM on the desktop.
  21. Try removing HighResTexturePack03 HighResTexturePack02 HighResTexturePack01
  22. It will work better to install it outside the of the program files folder. I know many people do not like the idea of turning UAC off, but as UAC is the problem with Program Files installs the only workaround short of reinstalling the game to a new folder is to turn off UAC. So far every version of Windows after Vista, and including Vista has UAC.
