A diferent approach to karma

Okay here is my idea why not create a mod that effects the items you encounter in the wasteland dependant on our characters karma?

 

like a perk that would determine your treasures based on the ammount of kama you have for either side of the karma bar.

 

Example: with a bad karma you collect more ammo, bottlecaps, and explosive weapons. and with a good karma you would aquire more one hand weapons, armor, and nuka-cola, and scrap metal.

i like the idea, but in your example you have the bad karma getting both more ammo and bottlecaps...

 

that's very one sided.

 

i would rejig your examples to:

 

good karma

 

bottlecaps

armour

nuka cola (and/or food items)

 

bad karma

 

ammo

explosives

(chems)

 

 

 

i can't see a corellation between karma and weapon use really.

I'm not much on indian lore, but I thought that karma basically meant "what goes around, comes around."

 

If that's the case, then you should simply get more/better items from loot if you're a good character, and less swag if you're bad. At least I think that makes more sense than given certain characters certain types of items based on disposition.
