For testing, I have got a different hunting bow and a different steel shield and they look normal, but I have no idea why their gear is like this.I spent some time with them to see if it will go away, but no such luck.I tried uninstalling every mod that I think associates them (amidianborn textures, other textures, ESF Companions, Equipping overhaul) and no such luck.
