SkySage Posted October 30, 2023 Share Posted October 30, 2023 Hi, Every time I start Vortex it states, "Preparing game for modding Valheim". Then a message box appears saying that "C:\Users\<<user>>\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\downloads\valheim\denikson-BepInExPack_Valheim-5.4.2201.zip" already exists. I tell it to replace and continue and get the green box saying BepIn installed but then two other blue box shows up saying "Deployment necessary" and "Deployment requires elevation". I click on these and then the whole process just start all over. It just repeatedly trying to install the plug-in. If I just click cancel or skip replacing the file, it will start all over again when I restart Vortex. I have uninstalled Valheim, uninstalled Vortex, deleted Vortex "roaming" folder and nothing seems to prevent the cycle. Also, if I cancel the blue box the "Deploy Mods" in the ribbon at the top keeps flashing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Amanlu Posted November 4, 2023 Share Posted November 4, 2023 In addition to this constant download, deploy loop, my instance of Valheim doesn't even want to launch the mods i downloaded, nothing at all, it just launches as bare as it can go, with bepinex only.
