evilneko
Got a question about the forum itself. I googled the forum, looked through the docs, couldn't find anything on this. In order to save time (and nexus diskspace, even as little as images take up) I'd like to be able to re-use attachments that I've uploaded previously in different posts. I'm just not sure if this can be done. Obviously the attachments are stored somewhere, and I can even review and delete them from my control panel. (Why would I want to? That'd make the posts I included them in look silly) If I try to copy the link address from there and stick it in an image tag though, I get nothing. Actually, while writing this I figured out a way to do it. I have to go to the post where I attached the image I want and if I right click on the thumbnail image, I get a usable path and filename that works in the image tag. If I take the _thumb off the end I can get the full size one, but when I do it this way, the forum doesn't seem to auto-resize the image, so obviously it's not intended for users to do that. :whistling: Maybe it's just not resizing in my preview... nope, just not resizing. Re-used thumbnail:http://www.thenexusforums.com/uploads//monthly_06_2009/post-915353-1245139088_thumb.jpg Re-used full-size:(Removed to not break anyone's layout) So I guess, is there any way this can be done without being all sneaky about it, and actually having the forum's auto-resize work? (I guess I could just link to the full size, too...)
