GowiHasti
I want to work on some core character heads in blender and I have a script for dragon age but first I need to know how to make a .mrh into .mmh & .msh files to be able to use it. Please help.
Risibisi
All characters are based on a base model. For example Alistair on the human male model. You can export those base meshes with the DA-Tool and you will get the .msh and .mmh files. DA- Tool:http://social.bioware.com/project/41/
GowiHasti
So I just need the 1 base? If I edit it to make something for Alistair and Loghain say wouldn't they look alike or something?
Risibisi
What exactly do you want to do?As far as I know has every change on the base 3d models influence on all characters ingame which are using this 3d model. For example: Make Oghren's head smaller = all male dwarves will get a smaller head.Hm, you have to edit the files for the charcater which you want to change. Means Alistair uses the human male base head. Make your changes in your 3d programm and now you have to tell the DA engine that it should use the new head because you don't want that all human males have the new head. I have never tried such things and so I don't know which files you have to edit and if it's possible.Maybe it's good to ask over in the forums of the Bioware social network or here in the 3d modelling section!?
