Pellape
I am so overhelmed and confused right now and I have never been that in any games before, never in any TES game at least and I have played these games since 1996, Daggerfall but Starfield plays in another league, another dimension. But here are some thoughts and bugs and stuff I figured out so far. 1. It is hard to grab some items, that are hidden either behind furnitures or stuck inside tool racks. Have you ever tried to grab a pen from a whiteboard in game? Try it. The collisions covers some items and also try to get all tools from the tool racks, which is only possible if you use tcl and go inside them. I also tried to grab some food inside an oven and I had to go inside the oven with tcl to do so. 2. Sarah is now walking on the moon without a space suit. That needs to be fixed really. I will note all bugs I find and send them to the unofficial patch team as I doubt Bethesda will fix those glitches, not now as they need to focus at getting the game more stable. 3. It is irritating when Onedrive or other applications makes the game to crash. Damn MS and their pop ups but I managed to stop that to happen now I guess. But I am sure they will continue to pop up, time to time. 4. Outposts? Honestly it is NOT easy to pick a good spot for a proper Outpost. I did read that Kreet is good so I build one there. I did build one outside London but I did leave an item there in case I wanna build one as it seems it has some resources, like Chlorine or something similar. 5. The Graphics is the best I have ever seen in a game but it sure has to much Grain, so Ido suggest that if you wanna see details better without using the scanner, turn down the Grains. Default is 1.0 and I have set it to 0.1 now, which is more balanced with the reality. 6. The crafting is so cool but the most confusing part right now is to actually focus at optimizing my game time and focus at what is importent to do to get bases and a business up and running. It is so realistic but I guess all that will settle when I get used to the game. We can spend a lot of time running around at a planet surface but as it is so huge, as every damn planet is in real size, we cannot choose random spots but we sure have a lot of space to build uniques bases at, whithout they are conflicted with other players projects. As long as a player do not edit the landscape in an area, we are fine cooperating at that space but I wanna edit both the landscape and the surroundings when I later will be able to build my own cool base with CK2. 7. Flying is extremely hard I think and it is that the ships reacts so much when we move the mouse so keeping a ship at a straight line is almost impossible. Maybe this is because of the small size of our first Ship? It reacts extremely fast to any move we do and I also like the ability to stealth with the ship as we do outside Venus. :D I sure need a break now so I can process all inputs I got the latest days from the game. Maybe I should try to get some homework done from school? I am a Computer Graphics Student now, so expect me to make some stuff for the game later, if needed that is, but I sure have my own style making stuff and I do have a lot of meshes and textures made for the TES games, and some of those can be reused in Starfield easy I guess but if they will fit from TES to a Space RPG, that is the question, but does it really matters if the design is cool? If we look inside the Constellation HQ, it is a mix of both future but also retro style of interiers and My base in Oblivion reminds some of the COnstellation HQ design, which you can see here: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/52047 and that base is built with companions in mind, so they can move without getting stuck in places but also provide enough space for the player, as it is spacy. I also want to focus at building a functional library in game an as you see at my screenshots from Oblivion, that meshes for that are already made but to get a book inside a shelf, requires some Papyrus scripting and I do not like papyrus at all as I am more used to Oblivon scripting. I am not sure right now what type of machines, or tools that the game is lacking and what we as player need to build to make life easier. Just look at the way we trade in game. It sure takes a lot of time to sell the same type of stuff over and over again, so I made an Autoselling chest in Skyrim, put it in an Inn so the player can just open it and it will grab all stuff that the player has sold earlier so we do not need to spend so much time with this boring stuff in game. Scanning a chest do take a lot of time in Skyrim, compared to Oblivion as the scripts work so different in these 2 games. In Oblivion I store the databse of the chests in a questscript and I do not recall how I made the arrays in Papyrus but I still have the code somewhere and it should be possible to reuse it. The source code is also included in the mod by the way. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/71234 I love small tools like this chest and I love to be able to focus at what is fun in game and optimize my play time and have fun. So lets see how we together can make the game funnier then it already is really. It is not fun to sell stuff and clean up the inventory for sure. I hate it even, so boring. I do love go around collecting the stuff, so no wonder my inventory get overloaded with garbage, like mugs, toilet paper or whatever Bethesda placed in game Bethesda is the best game producers ever excisted for sure. This game rocks. So confusing and overhelming.... :O
