Thor.
Lol melee weapons, why would you spend your money on something like that, fact you would never use it is one thing, and other it takes up to much room, well maybe a mace or something. Even if you wall mount them, to much of a hassle i think.

MalachiDelacot
By what do you consider "melee weapons" ? Having been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism for a number of years, I have seen all kinds of weapons used in melees. I usually fought sword and madu, a morning star (not the mace and chain movies have us think of), actually made a katar (like I had my companion in many of my screen shots carries), and have gone into a melee with only a dagger. Yup...just a dagger...no shield... and I kicked some arse before I got taken out by a swordsman.Fists can and have been considered melee weapons, as any that have studied martial arts (myself: Shodan...first level black belt in Aikido) may feel.As per real "melee weapons", I own a shamshir (made about 1840), a katana and a wakizashi, 4 tantos, a mace and chain; all are live steel, not wall hangers; and I have my body and mind. DeathWarrior
I have tons of melee weapons. The first was a Scottish claymore I got for my 13th birthday, and the most recent is a Viking longsword a bought at a medieval festival a few months ago. In total I have hundreds of knives, at least 23 swords, 2 axes, 2 flails, a pair of nunchuks, and a spear. Some of these weapons are homemade. Birrii
I've got a small collection. They're hanging on the wall in my "second room". First is a japanese Samurai from about the late 19th century.I've also got a sword from spain from the 17th century that belonged to a soldier. I've got a viking shortsword. I've also got a Turkish sword from the time of the crusades. And, last part of my collection is, a sword from france (that you use for fencing) from the 17/18th century. Our collection isn't big, but we pick the most beautiful and decorated swords so that we have something to look at :)
Marcus Wolfe
A sword and a knife in my room. I'm preparing for the zombie apocalypse.... although maybe it would be smarter to be collecting firearms.....
TheCalliton
A sword and a knife in my room. I'm preparing for the zombie apocalypse.... although maybe it would be smarter to be collecting firearms.....swords dont run out of ammo, and knives have an unlimited number of uses (btw if your knife has two edges, it is actually a dagger.)
