witcher112
Hi everyone! I'm currently creating Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Open Modding Platform that will enable modders to access game API, add new custom characters without removing previous ones and many more. I want to incorporate Vortex as a base platform for installing the Modding Platform and mods. Currently LSW:TSS has some mods that are based on the method of unpacking all game files and replacing those and this is something my modding platform won't support (all those mods will need to be converted to work, perhaps I can create a tool that does that but I can't guarantee that it'll work for every mod currently deployed). So my question is: what would be the best approach for architecture in here? I'd love to make it work with Vortex, but creating a Game Extension that only works with my Modding Platform might be confusing. In such a case should I create a Game Extension that has a subname suggesting it's only for Open Modding Platform, or something else? Thank you for the answer in advance
