Indio21
Hello, I just noticed I am having an issue with my display screen in game. I use my tv for a screen to play skyrim se. Moving the view, with a controller, I get a strip about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide that flickers like it is loading that section late or early. The faster I move the more noticeable it is. It is there moving the view side to sided too, but not as easily noticed. The tv screen is connected by HDMI and the pc has a Nvidia GTX 980M video card. Recently I reinstalled windows before I began downloading mods. I did a clean install for the game as per videos and tutorials referenced on nexus. I am hoping it is a setting with the nvidia control panel, but I am not experienced with it. Thank you Edit: I forgot to mention the strip runs horizontally across the full width of the screen. Depending on moving the view up or down it changes it position on the screen, but always runs the full width of the screen Edited January 24, 2024 by Indio21
HeyYou
Did you get an updated driver for your vid card from the manufacturers website? Windows does not always install the best driver when it boots up the first time..... (though, sometimes, even a blind squirrel can find a nut.....) Also, make sure that the game is actually using the 980m.....
Indio21
Yes, Gforce had an update for it, but didn't fix it. It looks like tearing but only happens when I move the view. Otherwise it appears fine.
Indio21
I got it fixed. Had to force vsync and triple buffering on nvidia control panel.
