Supposedly, I'm "trespassing" in my own Hearthfire house?

I don't know why, either. My bard basically told me to f*** off, and my own damn steward - Lydia - called the guards on me. In my own house!

 

I did use the player.removefromallfactions console command before, but it shouldn't effect my Hearthfire house, since I didn't even receive the plot of land when I typed in the command.

Despite this thread being old I'm encountering this problem to. I'm scared to store stuff in my chest. My house is the one in the pale and I have become the thane of the pale

 

If you found a fix I wound be grateful to know what it is.

After I had this problem myself today and couldn't find a solution on the internet, I think I have found a solution for that problem myself:

 

1.)open the console

 

2.) Look up the Cell ID of your house

use "help BYOHHouse1Falkreath" for Lakeview Manor, "help BYOHHouse2Hjaalmarch" for Windstad Manor or "help BYOHHouse3Pale" for Heljarchen Hall

 

3.) Type setcellownership <Cell ID>

For Example: setcellownership 05002fec

Such an old thread, but here goes. As soon as I adopt a child, I loose many of my houses(including several custom modded houses) to this problem. The only houses I can use the beds in are proudspire and breeze home. All containers are marked steel from. I reloaded my save just before adoption and tried adopting 4 times, and the bug repeated every time. I have all the unofficial patches and they did nothing for this problem. I hope the above solution will fix at least some of the houses.
