RagonaVex
Hi! I'm adding mods to Skyrim SE from Steam, and I just added several mods (like FNIS, CBBE, RaceMenu and XPMSE), but I keep getting the "Check failed - Some of the enabled plugins have dependencies or incompatibilities that are not obeyed in your current setup: racemenuplugin.esp requires RaceMenu Special Edition and xpmse.esp requires RaceMenu Special Edition" however, I ALREADY have the RaceMenu Special Edition installed and enabled. I'm pretty new to this, so I google searched and looked through some other forums to see if I could find any answers to it, but I honestly couldn't. Solution dizietemblesssma Posted February 3 Solution Share Posted February 3 Vortex doesn't always enable the plugins properly in the 'Plugins' tab, at least for me. I often have to check there that the plugins for and enabled mod are actually enabled. diziet
7531Leonidas
If you got the files from Steam, might you have to use the Beth mod manager in the main menu? Vortex might not 'see' some files from Steam, and vice versa. I don't like using the Beth MM and Vortex, it scrambles things. Do you make sure that the Steam files are d/l and installed into Vortex (via the 'Install From File' widget at the top of the mods page)? While there might be other ways to make sure, I would not be familiar with them, since I avoid Steam addons/mods.
