munintarn Posted February 18 Share Posted February 18 Does anyone have a simple, generic answer on what changes a mod needs to update it for Patch #6? I've seen several mods that have done the update already, and this: "Patch 6 is stupid, screw whoever reconfigured entity data. Removed DisplayName duplication." (which made me chuckle for a while before updating the mod). Since I'm new to modding, I don't know yet what "entity data" is and where to find it. Is that all I need to update for Patch #6 if I'm changing an existing mod (with author permission of course)? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
quad98 Posted February 18 Share Posted February 18 I think it's about an individual mod object in the game that needs to be coded every time you add something of your own to the BG3 (except replacing via loose files, of course).
