Could someone explain how to merge mods?

I really wanna rip the dual banished knight swords custom weapon from the Animations remix for 1.10 made by darkangel and updated by Sto3IV and put it into the quilled gauntlets mod but i have no idea how to do it. I've watched a couple videos the ones I watched don't have as many chr files as both mods do and I'm confused as what to do with all the chr files
