GreybeardRanger
I was playing Skyrim with no issues, saved, shut it down to go cook dinner, tried to restart and am now getting an SKSE error message.
AaronOfMpls
What version number of the game were you running? If you were keeping an old version, did your game update over Steam while you were stepped away?

I thought I disabled updates, but apparently Steam had other ideas.

EDIT: After some experimentation, I got it down to just three errors. Still no idea what to do about them. Have you updated: PapyrusUtil SE RaceMenu SSE Engine Fixes -- hasn't updated, but a file might be missing -- or (more likely) you might need the modified .toml file to keep it working in current Skyrim SE Edited February 25 by AaronOfMpls

I reckon I'll eventually figure out what's wrong. Eventually. Maybe. Edited February 25 by Baltimorebiker
7531Leonidas
If the part 2 of Engine Fixes is not properly installed, it can cause the SKSE error message you showed...

Yes, I too seen that. I remember now that you mentioned it. I made the mistake and downloaded the file from the wrong link. The correct one was on another page of that site. After that, you will need the toml mod I linked to, OR you can change it manually in the .toml file. I chose to use the mod so if, or when, it gets updated I can simply remove the mod instead of noting what was changed. I will see if I can locate the link I was given for the correct download. I just installed all that like 3 to 4 weeks ago. After getting the correct file and adding the toml mod, everything worked and has since. EDIT: I misspoke. It was the enb series download I dealt with, not skse. Edited February 26 by Indio21
