I want to create an AoE Taunt shout for a follower, how would I accomplish this through scripting?

I tried taking a look at the taunt spell script in Nether's Follower Framework, but I'd need about 20 years to understand it. I also thought about looking at the Housecarls are Tanks mod to see how that worked, but it's long gone.
