Vortex can't find skyrim se launcher even though it's there

Hi I've just built a pc and am new to a lot of this.

My problem is I've had skyrim modded and working a few times but after a day or 2 I get a message in vortex that it can no longer find my skyrim se. If I goto the folders everything is there but if I double click on the skse launcher I get error code 2. 

My skyrim special edition ae has just disappeared from my vortex dashboard and I can't even launch it from steam anymore. I am a premium paying customer and I love skyrim so really want to stay on board and get this fixed.

Please help.
