It does look like to me something was deleted. Maybe not by Vortex, but gone nevertheless. Right well then I shall try all of these tomorrow and hope it works! jerryterhorst
Hate to bump an old thread, but did you ever resolve this? Running into the same issue with FO4 Hot Keys and FallUI. Worked great, decided to try without them, gave me the "esp missing" error, and now my save crashes within 5-10 seconds of loading. In the process of re-downloading and re-installing now, but won't be ready for a couple hours, so curious if this worked for you!
TenaciousDSquare
Uninstalling mods mid playthrough ,unless specifically stated by the mod author, is always a bad idea. Things get added to the save and when the save tries to access something that is missing, CRASH. Try reinstalling the mods. If that doesn't work you'll have to start a new game. erick88
I had this problem today using Vortex, but in Fallout 4. I solved it as follows: 1- in the mods menu I clicked on reinstall; 2- in the plugin menu I looked for all files with the .esp and .esm extension and enabled them. The same ones that appear when loading a save game It worked and I didn't lose any saves for some reason, vortex lost permission to access the folder where it saves the plugins Edited January 3 by erick88
