Shakerplum
Whenever I access any of the crafting menus: forge, grindstone, workbench, enchanter, etc. the game freezes up. I still hear the game sounds and the game thinks I'm in the menu but I cant do anything. The cursor is frozen and no menus appear. The only way to close the game when this happens is through the task manager. There is no crash log as the game isn't crashing and I have tried disabling mods to no avail. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
AaronOfMpls
Without mods, does it still freeze up if you don't load SKSE? Also, what were the last things you installed before this started happening? Did Skyrim update before this happened? If so, you might need to update SKSE and any .dll's that came with your SKSE mods.
Shakerplum
SKSE is fully up to date and I'm not having any problems with any .dll's to my knowledge. I have a feeling it might be a mod conflict but beyond that I'm completely stumped.

anjenthedog
I recall having similar issues when I first started playing. For me the answer was adding Better Message Box Controls. ...ymmv If however, this is a sudden onset problem, I'd recommend checking any mods you might have added recently. good luck!
