CTD Issue - SSE - Looking for Expert Feedback/Correction

Hello, I'm super new getting into modding and I've been trying to make a load order work as best as I could manage. A lot of things are probably still way over my head, but I've tried to take it as far as I could on my own before I figured I'd be too stuck right and need to ask for some expert feedback.

(Using MO2)

My crash to desktop issue happens practically as soon as the load screen after pressing New Game finishes.

From what I've been reading online, my understanding is that CTD issues that cccur that quickly are probably resulting from incorrect load order, or missing masters of some kind.

I tried to be really careful in checking that the required mods would load before the mods that need them coming after, but I've probably still made some egregious errors most likely.

When I run loot the loot sort function, everything looks clear with it saying no missing patches or compatibility things I believe.

Here is the pastebin crash logger:

And here are my mods and Plugin lists:

I greatly appreciate anyone taking a look if they have the time, thank-you.

If I remember right, missing masters usually crash you on the main menu, before you can even get to New.  And MO would warn you of one in any case.

I'm not familiar enough with most mods in your load order to see any obvious red flags.  Maybe someone else will know better.

And I don't see an alternate start mod in there, or at least not any I'm familiar with.  Are you using one, or would New start the cart ride if it was working?  Maybe the game is trying to do too much too fast at startup. 🤷

(Myself, I use Alternate Start - Live Another Life; its starting prison cell is a quiet place to let my mods load all their stuff before I start playing my new character in earnest.  I usually pause the game via Esc or the console for a bit after character creation -- though a few of my mods also pause things with their own menu choices, too.)

Ooh I see, well that is a relief to know too, the fact that it can at least get to main menu stable is better then crashing before you even get there.

Appreciate it nonetheless and thank-you for that tip, It sounds definitely worth a try. I'll give that alternate start a try and pressing console, then update back here if it still causes a crash!

Also, if you're using any SKSE mods, check that things are up-to-date for your version of the game.  Modding.wiki has a big list of these and their requirements.

Okay knock on wood i'm half expecting the other shoe to drop later, but I think it might be stable and fixed atm!!! I tried installing that Live Another Life, I checked that resource page and noticed I had A Standard Engine fixes and not that newer modified toml file SSE engine fixes for the newer versions, and I also used the console to give it a breather. Character creator was working and all the other things look like it's in place! TYSM dude!!!

YW!  And I recommend exploring the different start options too.  I tend to roleplay my characters' stories a fair bit -- even if only in my head for some parts (e.g., imagining chatting up NPCs beyond the actual dialogue options) -- and many of those different starts have inspired me.

There are also other mods around that add additional starts; look at AS-LAL's page > Requirements > Mods requiring this file for a list of some.

Oooh will do! I have been getting lost in the character customization and shaping I lost track of time, but yeah I love the idea of roleplay for the characters like that, it sounds absolutely awesome. I'll look for something that would fit my orc, thanks again.

No problem!  I know AS-LAL and some of its addons have some race-specific starts: e.g., Orcs can start at a stronghold, Nords can start as Erik the Slayer's friend in Rorikstead, Dark Elves and Argonians can start in their parts of Windhelm, etc.  (AS-LAL's are all listed in a readme file, iirc -- as well as under a spoiler near the bottom of the mod description page.  Other addons will likely list their own on theirs.)

That sounds sick thank-you!! It's been a long time since I first played vanilla skyrim as a kid, and if I recall correctly there was a line where someone referred to the player character orc as a "city orc". I always thought that was really fun, the unconventional breaking of the norms and how you could roleplay any character you create any way you want and imagine the backstory. And coming back to it with an older perspective and all these sick *ss mods is going to be so awesome. A city orc who uses one handed and also likes some magic, and maybe ended up at a stronghold looking for someone who has a lead on a magic sword or some sickass dwemer  bodyslide armour. Ahhhh once-you-go-mod, you-can't-go-back-to-vanilla-Todd!!!!!

ConsoleUtilSSE.dll v1.4.0 is incompatible with your Skyrim SE version, so be sure to update it to v1.5.0 here:

Done as well! Thank-you very much I think I downloaded both versions at first because I wasn't entirely sure, so I labelled one old and made the new one priority properly.
