aeges1303
Hi Everyone! Beforehand, sorry for my english (it's not my mothertongue) and if this is something common but I don't know where else to look for, since I've been trying to fix this problem to no avail... I had to reinstall my Skyrim (from 1.6.640 to 1.6.1170) due to some problems with my hard drive. I could recover my savegames but I had to reinstall all the mods from 0. Everything's working really fine with no problems excepting RaceMenu, which is making my main character (Male Nord) purple from head to feet. This issue is not limited to this race but all its male counterparts in the other ones. I have the last version of this mod installed, already checked the load order both in the mod column (left) and in the plugin column as well (right) and tried activating and deactivating mod by mod... The only way to "solve" my char is deactivating RaceMenu, where his textures come back to normal, but I know this is not ideal. The another thing to mention is that this only happens with my current save. With a new save, all work as normal. My load order list: https://loadorderlibrary.com/lists/load-order-aeg-2042024 My mod list: https://loadorderlibrary.com/lists/modlist-aeg-2042024 Do any of you know what could be happening? If someone could help me, I'd really appreciate it by thousands! Thank you so much.
scorrp10
Let me get this straight. Your character goes purple when you install Racemenu? Racemenu allows a lot more various overlays than vanilla. And if your caracter build includes an overlay (tattoo, warpaint, makeup) but its texture file is missing, you get purple. What you can do is, with Racemenu installed, load your save, open console, and use showracemenu command. Close console, go to Presets tab, and use F5 to save your preset. Be sure to note the name you save it under. The preset (.jslot) files are saved in Data/SKSE/Plugins/Chargen/Presets. Find the preset file you saved and open it in Notepad. There should be a section about various overlays, indicating texture files used. Depending on paths of those files, you might be able to determine their source mods.
aeges1303
Thank you Scorrp10! Although I couldn't find in the file what was missing since all the textures are in the modlist, I could fix my char by creating a new game, saving that preset and reloading it in my main game, and voilà! all came back to normal. Nonetheless, it was your help what got me there so I can't thank you enough. Edited April 4 by fabiosmert3
