wzor
I've been doing a bandit playtrough and with a mod like that it would definitely feel much more immersive and challenging, if anyone could help with this i'd appreciate a lot! AaronOfMpls
Well, Alternate Start - Live Another Life's bandit start ("I am an outlaw in the wilds") gives you a large bounty in whichever hold your starting bandit camp is in. So guards there will already be trying to arrest you, and some NPCs will join the fight if you resist. You could also add yourself to a bandit faction, through console commands or through a mod like Play as Bandit. This will make many NPCs hostile to you, though probably not all. wzor
thanks! @AaronOfMpls i do use Alternate Start, but when i say play as a bandit, that's a bit of an euphemism: i play more like a unhinged killer that attacks everyone including bandits, which is why tend to not pick the bandit start (i like permadeath runs but i'm tired of doing quests, so i came up with this) i will check if play as a bandit has a meaningful impact after this playtrough tho, since the author claims you need a fresh start also i do have a high bounty but that doesn't seem to trigger most npcs either. my latest idea was to turn myself into a vampire to encourage hostility, even added this mod People Hate Vampires which is supposed to turn more npcs aggressive towards you, sort of works, not as effective as i hoped but... it's something i just had an idea tho, what if i could add EVERYONE to the vigilant faction? that could have almost imperceptible collateral effects and yeah i'm kinda hesitant to try adding myself to the bandit faction with console cause i don't want them to be friendly towards me, i'll test it tho, but probably not the solution. i think i'll just have to make my own mod for this Edited April 4 by wzor

EDIT: Or browse through all the factions (on UESP or elsewhere) to find one that is enemies with everyone already. AaronOfMpls
2 minutes ago, wzor said: that simple? i'll look into it, thanks! It's a start, at least. Though looking in (UESP's fork of) the CK wiki: Enemy: Enemy actors are attacked on sight by Aggressive, Very Aggressive, and Frenzied actors, and are not assisted by anyone. ...So it might not be enough on its own vs less-aggressive NPCs.
